On September 25, 2024, the Local Government Unit of Polanco Officials, Heads of Offices and Employees, Punong Barangays, Sangguniang Kabataan, National Government Agencies (NGAs), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), and other stakeholders were all invited to witness the State of Municipal Address of Mayor Evan Hope “Boyet” D. Olvis.
The Local Chief Executive rendered an account of the mandate vested upon him, through his Six (6) Point Priority Development Agenda which includes the following:
- Good Governance;
- Social Welfare Services, Healthcare and Nutrition Program;
- Peace and Order and Public Safety;
- Education and Economic Development;
- Agricultural Enhancement Programs;
- Infrastructure and Support Services
Highlighting his oath to make a difference along his development agendum, he expressed his constant mantra for service “Polanco, Lungsod Ko, Pinangga Ka!”, stating that the people of Polanco is his driving force in setting his agenda and platforms into reality.
Alongside the presentation of the accomplishments and challenges of the preceding year, updates on on-going and future projects, programs, and activities were also reported.
Mayor Olvis extended his heartfelt gratitude to the people who helped him materialize his plans for the Municipality – LGU and Barangay Officials and Employees, NGAs, CSOs, NGOs, the Polancohanons, and most especially to the Almighty God.
To cap off the day, a simple banquet were shared by all guests. Furthermore, the event was held at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, of this municipality.
