The Local Government Unit of Polanco celebrated a remarkable milestone as it honored Nanay Florencia M. Elumbaring of Barangay Lingasad, who has reached the incredible age of 100 years.

Mayor Shaia Ruth “Ying” Uy, together with personnel from the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) and the Population Development Office, personally visited Nanay Florencia to deliver the ₱100,000 centenarian incentive and provide milk supplements as a gesture of appreciation for her long and inspiring life.

Mayor Uy extended her heartfelt congratulations to the newest centenarian awardee, recognizing Nanay Florencia’s strength, resilience, and the legacy she continues to inspire within her community.

“Usa ka inspirasyon ang iyang kusog ug kaisog. Nag-ampo kami nga hatagan pa siya ug dugang tuig nga puno sa panalangin ug maayong panglawas,” Mayor Uy noted.

The centenarian incentive is part of the national and local government’s commitment, through the National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) and LGU Polanco, to honor and support senior citizens who have contributed greatly to their families and the community.
