The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), The National ICT Confederation of the Philippines (NICP) and the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) sponsored the Digital Governance Awards (DGA) 2022 on March 30, 2023. In implementing digital transformation and deploying cutting-edge information and communications technology (ICT) solutions inside their communities, towns, cities, and provinces made excellent efforts, which were acknowledged at the event.
The Local Government Unit of Polanco is one of the finalists for the Government Internal Operations (G2I) category for its ‘Appropriations, Allotments and Obligations Management System (AAOMS)’ and is commended for its efforts in creating internal systems and adhering to various recognized standards to better serve its internal customers.
Along with LGU Polanco, Zamboanga City, Pagadian City, Dipolog City, and LGU Kabasalan are Region IX finalists.
Congratulation to the Polanco Local Government Unit, led by Mayor Evan Hope D. Olvis, for leveraging ICT to offer the Polancohanons better and more efficient services!
